Joan Ford's Newtake (also known as Joan Ford Newtake East ) is a ring cairn near the Swincombe River west of Hexworthy in Devon , England that contains a stone box .

A more or less continuous curb ring made of upright boulders 0.3 m to 0.6 m in height surrounds the hill with a diameter of about 8.7 m, which is disturbed by a field boundary made of dry stone .

The well-preserved north-west-south-east oriented stone box is 1.0 m long, 0.5 to 0.65 m wide and up to 0.7 m deep. The 1.35 × 1.0 × 0.2 m measuring capstone leans against the southeast side of the box.

Nearby are the stone circle "Joan Ford Newtake West" and the stone rows "Joan Ford Newtake rows".
