description

Runddysse 1 is a hill enclosed by nine curb stones (only one of which stands), about 10.5 m in diameter with the centrally positioned chamber of an approximately 1.05 m long stone box, consisting of four relatively thin inwardly inclined bearing stones and a bulky capstone .

Runddysse 2 is a restored hill of 10 curb stones, set about 0.75 m high, about 8.0 m in diameter with the centrally positioned chamber of a stone box, consisting of two long and one short bearing stones and a vaulted cap stone.

Individual evidence

  1. Runddysse is the name commonly used in Denmark for dolmens that are located in a round hill. In contrast, Langdysser lie in rectangular or trapezoidal giant beds
