Sara Pérez Sala (born January 12, 1988 in Barcelona ) is a Spanish triathlete who used to be a swimmer. She is an Olympian (2004) and reigning national champion in the short distance triathlon (2017).

Career

2004 Summer Olympics

In 2004 Sara Pérez Sala started in the swimming relay at the Summer Olympics in Athens and the Spanish team took seventh place.

She has been active as a triathlete since 2013. In September 2016 she was third in the national championship on the short distance triathlon.

State champion triathlon short distance 2017

In September 2017, the 29-year-old became the elite state champion in Valencia in the Olympic distance (1.5 km swimming, 40 km cycling and 10 km running).
