Mediterranean Games 2005

The XV. The Mediterranean Games were held in Almería , Spain from June 24th to July 3rd, 2005. 3,214 athletes (2,134 men and 1,080 women) from 21 countries took part in 27 disciplines.

The mascot is the colorful Indalete , a representation of a man with a bow reminiscent of a cave painting, which is also considered a good luck charm.
