The Langwitz stone box, which was examined and restored in 1958, is located north of Langwitz on the border with Basedow in the Mecklenburg Lake District in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

The large stone box without Sprockhoff no. marks the transition from collective graves to individual burials in the late phase of the Central European megalithic systems . The stone box is completely preserved. It consists of sandstone slabs . It is covered by two cover plates, while the four long sides consist of only one stone plate each. A view of the large stone grave is possible from one side .
