Melby stone chest

The Melby stone box (also Meelby, Danish Melby Hellekiste ) is located northwest of Melby near Frederiksværk on the island of Zealand in Denmark .

The north-west-south-east oriented, about 0.5 m high stone box lies on private property. One end and the cap stones are completely missing. Nine large megaliths (with gaps) on both long sides and a large end stone have been preserved. The dimensions are approximately 8.0 × 2.6 m.
