The stone boxes from Skodsborg are located on Solhøj, southeast of Trørød in Rudersdal Municipality at Skodsborg station, between the railway line and the coast of Öresund on the Danish island of Zealand . The mound was excavated and restored by the National Museum.

1934, found stone boxes come from the late Stone Age , which in Denmark also Dagger time ( Danish dolktid is called).

Stone box 1 is almost three meters long. It contained the remains of a woman's skeleton. The dead woman had a flint dagger and a little amber in her grave.

Stone box 2 is about 3.75 m long and three men were buried here. A man whose skeleton was very well preserved was armed with two stone knives. A small flint arrowhead lay next to one of the other skeletons. The burial mound contained u. a. also a grave from the Bronze Age with a bronze sword.

In the region north of Copenhagen are u. a. also the stone box in Jægersborg Dyrehave , the stone box in Sandbjerg Østerskov, the stone box from Søllerød Kofoedsminde and the stone box at Vedbæk Kirke.

The stone box in Kohave Skov is located in Gammel Holte forest, south of Trørød.
