Timur Oruz

Timur Oruz (* 27. October 1994 in Krefeld ) is a German Hockey - National player .

Timur Oruz played at Crefeld HTC since he was a young boy . After playing one season with Uhlenhorst Mülheim in 2013 , he returned to his home club in 2014 before moving to Rot-Weiss Köln in 2015 . In 2016 he won the German championship title on the field with the Cologne team.

At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Timur Oruz was represented in the German squad together with five other Rot-Weiss Köln players.

He won a bronze medal with the Olympic hockey team at these games and was rewarded with the silver laurel leaf on November 1, 2016 .

Oruz has played a total of 39 international matches so far. (As of August 5, 2016)

Timur's sister Selin Oruz is a German national hockey player and, like her brother, was part of the 2016 Olympic squad.
