Selin Oruz

Selin Oruz (born February 5, 1997 in Krefeld ) is a German national hockey player .

Oruz played in the youth of Crefeld HTC since she was four . In 2014, after four years at the Duisburg club Raffelberg , she moved to the Düsseldorfer HC . In 2015 she won the German indoor hockey championship with the Düsseldorf team.

Oruz made her debut in the national team in 2013 , for which she has played 33 internationals so far.

Oruz's brother Timur Oruz is a German national hockey player and, like his sister, was part of the squad for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro . There she won the bronze medal with the German national hockey team. For this success, she and her team were honored with the Silver Laurel Leaf on November 1, 2016 .

Selin Oruz was part of the German Hockey Federation's squad at the 2017 European Hockey Championships in the Netherlands.
