Eyre Point stone box

The stone box of Eyre Point lies in the remains of a cairn about 80 m north of the lighthouse of Eyre Point, in East Suishnish, in the south of the Hebridean island of Raasay in Highland in Scotland .

The largely looted cairn is 17.0 m in diameter and 1.0 m high. The west-east oriented stone box is 1.4 m long, 1.1 m wide and 1.0 m high and consists of three supporting stones and the capstone. The eastern end stone is only 0.2 m above ground level. The oversized capstone measures 2.4 × 1.9 m and is 0.4 m thick. Two stones on the edge in the north arch can be the remains of a curb ring.

Nearby are the menhir and the double row of stones of Eyre.
