Blærekisten

Blærekisten (also called Blæresarg or Storstenskisten fra Blære) is a large megalithic stone box ( Danish Hellekiste ), which is located south of Blære Stationsby and east of the house Lyngholmvej 17, north of Aars in Himmerland in Denmark in a (now completely demolished) burial mound at the end of the Stone Age was discovered. The main distribution area for boxes of this type is in Sweden .

The stone box consists of several misshapen boulders on each long side and is covered by three large cap stones. It is located at the place of discovery, while the other objects can be seen in the Aars MuseumsCenter.
