Luis Felipe is the name of a high-quality brandy , that of the Bodegas Rubio in Spanish La Palma del Condado is marketed.

The oak barrels in which this very old brandy matures were discovered in 1893 when Bodegas Loewenthal-Morales was founded . They had been reserved for Antoine d'Orléans, Duke of Montpensier and son of the French bourgeois king Louis-Philippe I , who had resided in Seville before his death.

After the Bodegas Morales expired, the barrels and the Luis Felipe brand were taken over by Bodegas Rubio in 1965. The product has been marketed successfully since around 1990. Part of the production is exported to, among others, Portugal, Germany, Switzerland and Japan.
