Career

Luise Fleck, née Blum, comes from Franconia. Since she was interested in hockey from a young age, she became a member of FC Kickers Würzburg , which had its own hockey department and which later, in the 1950s, was one of the leading German clubs in hockey.

Her performances were soon so good that she could play in the first women's team for more than 15 years. During this time she was a total of five times with the Würzburger Kickers German champion in women's hockey. The first time this happened, still under her maiden name Luise Blum, in 1941. This was followed by further German championships, also under her maiden name, in 1952 and 1953. She fought for further German championships with the Würzburg women's team, now under her married name Luise Fleck, in 1955 and 1956.

Luise Fleck was appointed to the German women's national hockey team in 1953, where she played six times for Germany.
