Luisterboek Award

The Luisterboek Award (German: Audiobook Prize) is a Dutch prize for the best reader of an audio book. It is announced annually during the audio book week (Week van het Luisterboek) in the NPO Radio 1 program Kunststof (NTR).

The audio book week has been held since 2005 and has been organized by the CPNB Foundation since 2012 . In addition to the Luisterboek Award, an audio book gift will also be issued, which is available free of charge in bookshops and libraries during the audio book week.

The jury for the Luisterboek Award consists of Vincent Bijlo (chairman), Milouska Meulens, Tuffie Vos, Vivianne Bendermacher and Job Cohen.

Award winners

  • 2014: Paulien Cornelisse and Mischa Wertheim, for Arthur Japin : Echt gebeut, Rubinstein, 2013.
  • 2013: Arthur Japin, for his book Maar buiten is het feest, Rubinstein 2012
  • 2012: Stef Visjager, for Annie MG Schmidt / Harry Bannink: Heerlijk duurt het langst, Rubinstein, 2011.
