description

The Luju Alang has a straight, single-edged blade. The blade is the same width from the handle to the location . the place is rounded and the back of the blade is a little longer than the cutting edge. The handle is made of wood or horn and is bent towards the edge on the pommel area. The knob is similar to an animal's mouth stylized carved . A decorated ferrule is attached between the handle and the blade , which is used for better fastening of the blade and the handle. The Luju Alang is a shortened version of the Sikin-Panjang . The term Alang means "not in use for combat". The Luju Alang is used by ethnic groups in Indonesia.
