Lukas Windischberger
Lukas Windischberger (born November 12, 1991 ) is an Austrian competitive athlete in racketlon and squash .
Career
Windischberger is one of only six players in the history of racketlon (as of May 2020) who were able to top the men's individual world rankings. It was consistently at the top of the world rankings from September 2017 to July 2019 . In addition to 12 international tournament wins in men's singles, 29 international tournament wins in men's and mixed doubles and a total of 8 national championship titles, he also won 2 x World Cup gold (1 x mixed doubles (Christine Seehofer)), 1 x team competition, 2 x World Cup -Silver (1 × men's singles, 1 × men's doubles (Georg Stoisser)) and 1 × WM bronze (men's singles).
He also played in the Austrian badminton and squash Bundesliga and has been part of the Austrian national squash team since 2017 .
After the end of his individual career at Racketlon in September 2019, he finished his master’s degree in management at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and dedicated himself to a new professional challenge with joining a building technology company. At the same time, participation in the PSA World Tour took place in the form of the first tournament participation in various satellite tournaments in 2019/2020.
