The Lukaskirche in the center ( Blinde Gasse 2 ) of the Idsteiner district Wörsdorf is the church of the local evangelical community. It was built in the years 1736/37, during the reign of Prince Carl von Nassau-Usingen , in place of a previously broken medieval building.

It is a hall building with a mansard roof and a gable tower , which in turn has a hooded lantern. The small choir is closed on three sides.

The outdoor facilities contain memorials to the fallen soldiers for the First World War and the Franco-German War .

The organ

The organ from the organ building company Oberlinger from Windesheim near Bad Kreuznach dates back to 1965. When this organ was built, parts of the organ made in 1876 by the Voigt brothers, Igstadt , which had already replaced the original organ from 1739, were used again.

It consists of 23 registers, two manuals and a thirty-note pedal. A register is used to control the tremulant. The organ also has three paddocks (I-II, IP, II-P). The organ action is mechanical throughout. It has around 1500 pipes.
