The island lundey ( isl. For " Puffins -Insel") is a small, uninhabited island in Skagafjörður in northern Iceland area.
It is located a good 2 kilometers from the mouth of the eastern branch of the river Héraðsvötn and 9 kilometers east of the town of Sauðárkrókur . From north to south it is almost 600 meters long and from east to west up to 300 meters wide, with an area of 0.1 km².
There are two other islands in Iceland called Lundey .
