Hans Gerber (architect)

Hans Gerber (born October 13, 1903 in Cologne ; † February 1968 ) was a German architect and construction clerk .

Life

Gerber studied architecture at the Technical University of Stuttgart , graduating in 1931. During his studies he worked in the architecture office of Hans Volkart and Paul Trüdinger. From 1932 he worked as an urban planner for the city of Stuttgart . In 1934 he passed his second state examination and from 1936 worked as a building officer and district manager. In the post-war period he worked in the architectural office of Hans Volkart for the reconstruction plans for Heilbronn and Löwenstein . From September 25, 1947 to October 18, 1953 he was head of the city planning office in Heilbronn. Then he went back to Stuttgart and worked as chairman of the planning office in the planning association for the central Neckar region. Since July 1, 1960, he worked as senior construction director at the regional planning association Württemberg-Mitte.
