Lupo Alberto is an Italian comic series written by Guido Silvestri (Silver).

The beginning

The main character Lupo Alberto, a blue wolf, tries again and again to steal the hen Marta, who is also his fiancée. But Mosè (a bobtail watchdog) tries to prevent this. It is precisely from these epic encounters between Lupo Alberto and Mosè that the first episodes of the comic series emerged.

Lupo Alberto first appeared in February 1974 with an advertising line by Guido Silvestri in the youth magazine Corriere dei ragazzi . A year later Dardo published the first booklet dealing with Lupo Alberto.

In 1988, three volumes were published by Krüger Verlag in Germany.
