FTL Germany (Farhad Television Live) was a German-speaking private television broadcaster . On April 20, 2012, the station started via satellite. Initially, only an animation of the station logo with a reference to its website could be seen. From November 21, 2012, a trailer ran that announced FTL as a full program. In late November through December 2012, a few scenes were added to the trailer almost every day. On December 19, 2012, the station started its program without prior notice. At 7 p.m. the lottery program Glückspilz was broadcast for the first time. This was followed by music videos , suitable for the Christmas season . The broadcast was in the outdated 4: 3 image format. On August 2, 2013, FTL Germany stopped broadcasting on Astra . Zattoo and its own livestream were only briefly affected. On August 19th, FTL started to completely renew its website. In a press release, FTL announced that films, series, telenovelas and live sports were planned for 2014.
At the beginning of October 2013 FTL apparently stopped broadcasting completely. The live stream has also not been received since then. The station's homepage was offline in the meantime and is currently a construction site.
In January 2015, the station's original trailer could be seen again on the Eutelsat 33E satellite (formerly called Hot Bird 13D) under the identifier "TEST-CHALLENGER-TELEPORT". A new start of broadcast did not take place.

reception
The station could be received via ASTRA 1L, 19.2 degrees east until August 2013.
After that, some German cable networks continued to broadcast. As of August 1, 2013, the distribution of FTL in German and Swiss cable networks was expanded, and from January 1, 2014 the station should also be available via Unitymedia . However, this was no longer implemented due to the discontinuation of broadcasting.
In January 2015 the trailer was broadcast again on Eutelsat 33E (then called Hot Bird 13D, 13 ° East, frequency 11179 MHz; polarization horizontal; symbol rate 27500; FEC 3/4) under the identifier "TEST-CHALLENGER-TELEPORT".
