The Luther House in Essen district Bedingrade is the central meeting house of the Evangelical Church of food Bedingrade- Schoenebeck .

history

The official inauguration of the Luther House took place in 1925. The building was almost completely destroyed by bombing in World War II in 1944, but was completely rebuilt by 1952. At the beginning of the 1960s, an outbuilding was built, which serves as the pastor's house. As a result, the rooms on the first floor, which the pastor had previously lived in, were available for community groups. In the early 1980s, a large extension was built to offer more space for community life. In 2004 and 2005 the church service hall was renovated and redesigned.
