Lux (film series)

Lux was the hero of a German series of silent films by Edmund Heuberger . The king of adventurers was always portrayed by Carl Auen .

The series was popular around 1929/1930. After the opening film Lux, the King of Criminals (1929), in which Paul Michelo Kramer and Fred Immler also played alongside Carl Auen , there followed Der Mann im Dunkel (1930), Pariser Unterwelt (1930), The Green Lantern (1930) and Twice Lux (1930).

The scripts for the series came from the film enthusiast Eduard Andrés , unless they were by Heuberger himself .
