The Lycoming O-350 is a piston aircraft engine from the US manufacturer Lycoming . It is an air-cooled 4-stroke boxer engine with six cylinders. The bore is 111.1 mm and the stroke is 98.4 mm. This results in a displacement of 5724 cm³ (350 cubic inches). The engine was approved in 1941 and 110 kW (150 hp) at 2500 rpm -1 .

In contrast to the four-cylinder Lycoming O-235 engine, which was released around the same time , which used cylinders of the same size (bore and stroke) according to the modular principle and was a global success, the O-350 could not be sold. The approval therefore expired on November 5, 1945.
