The MÁV In was an express train - steam locomotive series of the Hungarian State Railways MÁV.

Since the two test locomotives MÁV Il 701 and MÁV Im 801 apparently did not provide the desired performance, the MÁV ordered a four-cylinder compound locomotive in Budapest in 1906 , of which 24 were finally purchased by 1908.

The boiler was much larger than the Il and Im. The total length of the machines also increased due to the length of the boiler. However, this also increased the total weight and axle weight, so that they could only be used on a few routes. They therefore ran express trains mainly on the Budapest - Pozsony - Marchegg route . The machines already had the pointed smoke chamber door typical of Hungary. The four cylinders drove the first coupling axle.

She won the Grand Prix at the 1906 World Exhibition in Milan .

In the second scheme of MÁV, the vehicles were in the category In filed with the numbers 802 to 825. In the third scheme valid from 1911, they were then referred to as 203.001-024.
