Making mice

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The mouse making , d. H. The creation or conjuring up of mice - which were viewed as a plague - was an activity ascribed to witchcraft at the time of the witch hunts and one of the typical crimes of demonology , which as witches or wizards was ascribed to people, often very young ones. Conversely, witches and wizards were “recognized” by the fact that they could make mice. According to popular belief , children who were to be introduced to witchcraft were taught to make mice first.
