MEMPLEX is a hazardous substance database for public fire brigades , company and plant fire brigades and rescue service organizations . The MEMPLEX hazardous substance database can be used both in control center systems and on on-site computers.

General

Substance data and recommended measures are provided for more than 11,000 substances with over 239,000 search criteria. There are also instructions for the emergency services and doctors . The database contains a widely branched directory of addresses to other information providers and auxiliary facilities, information on resistance lists and chemical protective suits, the measurement technology for measuring hazardous substances is dealt with in detail and a list of substance-related parameters offers specialist advisors in particular valuable support. The MET dispersion module is also integrated into the database for the calculation of dispersion in different weather situations and outlet variants.

Argument for: In Germany for more than 25 years existing database for the prevention of accidents and incidents with hazardous substances and dangerous goods. Used in the training of fire fighters, paramedics , paramedics and doctors.

Argument against it: Memplex is a private database like the "HOMMEL" manual .
