Fyodor Abramowitsch Blinow
Fyodor Abramowitsch Blinow (born July 25, 1831 in Nikolskoje, Saratov Oblast , † June 24, 1902 in Balakowo ) was a Russian self-taught mechanic and inventor of the world's first tracked tractor (introduced in 1877, patented in 1879). Blinow later developed his idea and built the first steam-powered caterpillar tractor for agricultural use (1881–1888), speed 3.2 km / h. His "self-propelled" tractor was successfully tested and shown at industrial and agricultural exhibitions in Nizhny Novgorod in 1896 .
Jakow Wasiljewitsch Mamin (1873–1955) continued his work.
