The MHK Group AG is a service company founded by Hans Strothoff in 1980 for medium-sized specialist trade and craft companies in the kitchen / living, sanitary / heating / air conditioning and building / renovation sectors, based in Dreieich near Frankfurt am Main and employing almost 600 people. In 2019, the 3,264 shareholders affiliated to the MHK Group in Germany and abroad achieved the highest sales result to date with external sales of 6.64 billion euros.

Corporate structure

In the kitchen, furniture and sanitary sectors, the MHK Group is one of the leading purchasing cooperations in Europe with subsidiaries in Belgium, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland and Spain.

The group includes 16 companies such as Carat, a provider of professional kitchen planning software, Cronbank AG, the advertising agency info-text and the Internet service provider macrocom. The best known marketing concepts of the group are the sample house kitchens specialty stores and the Reddy Küchen GmbH franchise system .

interdomus Haustechnik, an association for plumbing, heating and air conditioning specialist companies in Germany, is after 10 years with more than 1200 partners the association with the largest number of members in the plumbing, heating and air conditioning industry. The group also includes the Deutsche Wohnbau Verbund, which is aimed at prefabricated house manufacturers, and the TOP Malermeister Deutschland association, which supports the skilled painting and plastering trade.

The MHK kueche.de portal has been online since April 1, 2017.

The chairman of the board of the MHK Group AG is Hans Strothoff. As early as 2000, the succession was arranged in connection with a foundation. Hans Strothoff died on August 11, 2020 after a long illness. [1]
