The discovery of MOA-2007-BLG-192Lb was announced on June 2, 2008. The planet has about 3.3 times the mass of the earth, making it one of the smaller extrasolar planets. It was discovered using microlens on May 24, 2007 at the Mt. John Observatory in New Zealand .
