Multiple Single Instruction Multiple Data , MSIMD for short , is a computer architecture of parallel computers that cannot be clearly classified according to Flynn . It is a MIMD-like parallel interconnection of several independent SIMD computers. Such multi-vector computer systems are among the fastest computer architectures listed on the TOP500 supercomputer list. A well-known example is the Earth Simulator .
