The MTX Audio JackHammer T9922 is a 22 "subwoofer developed by MTX Audio Corporations.

The JackHammer is one of the largest and heaviest subwoofers commercially available.

The 2006 retail price of the T9922 is 8,500 euros in specialist shops and is available in two versions. As SPL version (with 2 × 2 Ω double voice coil) or as SQL version with 2 × 4 Ω double voice coil. An interchangeable membrane system is available as an accessory and enables quick conversion between the two versions.

Although the MTX JackHammer was developed for car hi-fi systems, it is only found in a few cars other than for show purposes. As an example of an installation that would be here MTV telecast Pimp My Ride to name. Here a team of craftsmen built the Jack Hammer into a 1986 Buick Century .

There are currently no known independent tests of this subwoofer that objectively demonstrate its performance compared to other extreme concepts. The 32 kg strontium ferrite magnet can also be described as rustic. Development teams usually try to reduce the weight of high-performance subwoofers, for example by using neodymium iron boron, in order to increase manageability.
