Maštoc '
Maštoc ' (Maschtoz) is the liturgical prayer book for the hand of bishops and priests in the Armenian rite . It corresponds to the “Great Euchologion ” of the Greek and the sacramentary of the Latin liturgies.
The name is probably derived from the name of the Catholicos Maštoc 'Ełivardec'i (Maschtoz von Jeghward ; 836-897), who is said to have combined the materials that had previously been handed down separately into a book.
