Maano Ramutsindela

Maano Ramutsindela is a South African geographer and professor in the Department of Environmental and Geographical Science at the University of Cape Town .

Maano Ramutsindela holds a Masters degree from the University of the North (Turfloop) and a PhD in Geography from Royal Holloway, University of London . In 2001 he went to the Department of Environmental & Geographical Science at the University of Cape Town. During his time there he discovered his interest in topics of human geography , especially socio-political and development issues , as well as world economics . In his research he then specialized in political geography and political ecology .
