Maarten Nijland (born March 22, 1976 in Gouderak ) is a former Dutch cyclocross and road cyclist.

Maarten Nijland became Dutch junior champion in cyclocross in 1995. Four years later he became cross-champion in the U23 class. In 2000 he won the Night van Woerden, which he won in 2002 and 2006. In the 2007/2008 cyclocross season he was first in the National Trophy Series at Mallory Park in Leicestershire . He also won other smaller cross races. Among other things, he was successful six times in Herford between 1997 and 2006.

On the road, Nijland was first overall in the junior race in Liège- La Gleize in 1994 . In the 2002 season he won the two one-day races Omloop van de Hoekse Waard and Hart van Brabant Trofee. In 2005 he drove for the Eurogifts.com team and in 2006 for Procomm-Van Hemert . In 2007 he ended his sporting career.
