from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Mabinline are a group of proteins from the Chinese plant Capparis masaikai (Mabinlang) that create a sweet taste on people's tongues.

properties

Mabinlins comprise the homologues Mabinlin 1 , Mabinlin 2 , Mabinlin 3 and Mabinlin 4 , and are 2S storage proteins from Mabinlang. After translation , they are post-translationally split into two parts by proteolysis , chain A and chain B.
