The MacFarlane Bluff is about 1800 m high cliff in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the western Churchill Mountains , it rises as part of the All-Blacks Nunatakker .
The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2003 after the New Zealand biologist Malcolm MacFarlane of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries , who worked at Vanda Station and Scott Base between 1983 and 1996 .
