Machland duo
The Machland duo , consisting of mother and daughter Anna and Andrea Lettner from Hofstetten in Mitterkirchen im Machland , was founded in the 1970s through the interpretation of well-known folk songs on the occasion of live performances, through radio and vinyl recordings and through several appearances on ORF - Television ( Heinz Conrads , Ernst Hagen Seniors Club) popular.
Career
Andrea Lettner had her first success in 1967 as a four year old girl with the tobacco smoking song. Ten years later she won a popular singing competition in Bad Ischl . Until 1981 she performed regularly with her mother. After that, the public appearances were greatly reduced. One of the most popular songs was the piece A kloanes Bibihenderl . The duo was initially supported by Romana Wieser.
