Madeleine Boll (born July 8, 1953 ) is a former Swiss football player and was the first ever licensed woman in Swiss football.

In the spring of 1964, Madeleine Boll took part in a junior training course at FC Sion for the first time , and a comrade applied for a license shortly afterwards. Surprisingly, the license was issued to her immediately. Thus Madeleine Boll was able to take part in the prelude of the juniors to the European Cup match between FC Sion and Galatasaray Istanbul . Their presence on the field attracted the attention of journalists from home and abroad. The association then withdrew her license on the grounds that only male players were allowed to do so.

Madeleine Boll then devoted herself to athletics and switched to football in neighboring Italy in 1970. There she played until 1974. Then she returned to Switzerland and played from 1975 to 1977 for FC Sion. With FC Sion she was champion in 1976 and 1977 and cup winner in 1977. She worked several times for the Swiss national football team .
