Norbert Stolzenburg

Norbert Stolzenburg (born May 12, 1952 in Berlin ) is a former German football player .

Career

Born in Berlin, he won the German A youth championship with Hertha Zehlendorf in 1970 . For the senior team, Stolzenburg became a feared goalscorer in the Berlin Regionalliga in the following years . In 1972/73 he was the league's top scorer with 33 goals. He then moved to league competitor Tennis Borussia Berlin , where the striker was again regional league top scorer in 1973/74 with 33 goals this season and was promoted to the Bundesliga with the club . Norbert Stolzenburg played for Tennis Borussia from 1973 to 1976 and from 1978 to 1982. In between he played for one year each for Eintracht Braunschweig and MSV Duisburg . During his career he made 64 Bundesliga appearances (20 goals) and 144 games in the 2nd Bundesliga (76 goals). In the 1975/76 season he was the top scorer in the 2nd Bundesliga North with 27 goals in 38 games.

After he left Tennis Borussia Berlin in 1982, Stolzenburg played for five years at Traber FC Mariendorf before ending his active career in 1987.
