Angelo Vier (born April 23, 1972 in East Berlin ) is a former German soccer player .

While Angelo Vier was unable to assert himself in the Bundesliga (he scored one goal in eleven games for Werder Bremen in 1995/96 ), he holds a record in the second division : He was top scorer at two different clubs for two consecutive years. He succeeded in 1996/97 with Rot-Weiss Essen (who were still relegated) and 1997/98 with FC Gütersloh .

In total, Vier, who also played for Arminia Bielefeld , Rapid Vienna , Rot-Weiß Oberhausen , VfL Osnabrück and SC Verl , scored 58 goals in 156 second division games and in the first Austrian Bundesliga in the 1998/99 season , three goals in 24 games .

He ended his career as an active player in the summer of 2006 and now works as a player's agent . From May 21, 2015, in addition to his work in the sports agency, he was also the sports director of BFC Dynamo . He gave up this function on August 25, 2017 when he took over the position of sports director at the second division club FC Ingolstadt 04 . After Ingolstadt slipped to the last place in the table in October 2018, Angelo Vier was given a leave of absence from his position as sports director on October 23, 2018 with immediate effect.
