Maflahi

The sheikdom Maflahi , Muflahi ( Arabic مفلحي Muflaḥī ), was a state within the Southern Arab Federation after briefly belonging to the Federation of the United Arab Emirates of the South . Originally it was one of five sheikdoms that were part of Upper Yafa . His last sheikh was Kassim Abdulrahaman Al-Muflahi. This was ousted and his sheikdom was incorporated into the People's Democratic Republic of Yemen in 1967 . The area is now part of the Republic of Yemen . In the 1960s, several members of the Al-Maflahi family moved to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar.
