Magab

Magab (also Megeb) was an ancient Egyptian place in Wadjit , the 10th Upper Egyptian Gau in Middle Egypt. The place is attested in inscriptions since the Middle Kingdom. In an inscription, the goddess Mut is referred to as the mistress of Magab , so she was worshiped here. A statue that mentions the place is said to have been found across from Abutiful . In fact, an Egyptian temple was discovered there that may be identified with Magab.
