Maggio (unit)

The Maggio , also Starello , was an Italian measure of volume in Livorno . The measure was used in the trade in grain , coal and salt .

When coal measure was

  • 1 Maggio (canceled) = 1830 cubic once = 221.045 pints (new)
  • 1 Maggio (heaped) = 1847.2 cubic once = 225.103 pints (new)
