The Magnolia Lake is a small artificial lake in Bucks County , the State of Pennsylvania . It is located in the area of the Bristol Township parish .
Today's body of water was initially a gravel pit that was used to build the nearby Pennsylvania Turnpike (Interstate 276). At the beginning of the 1950s, this depression filled with water, creating an almost rectangular lake. It was first named Langenfelder Lake after the company that built the highway. The Bucks County Park Board eventually acquired the lake and held a naming contest in 1964. From this the current name emerged.
Magnolia Lake has an area of around 14 hectares and is up to 5 meters deep. He is from Mill Creek flows through and is part of a larger park.
