Mahsa

Mahsa ( old Persian mah = moon , sa = similar, representing) is a female given name of Persian origin and means "like the moon" or "the moon-like". In the Iranian cultural area, the moon is a symbol of female beauty and appears again and again in Persian poetry as a metaphor for the face of the beloved.
