Angelica Malinar

Angelika Malinar (born May 27, 1961 in Oldenburg ) is a German Indologist .

Life

Malinar studied philosophy and medicine at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz and Indology at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen . In 1991 she did her doctorate in Indology in Tübingen, followed by her habilitation in 1998. After teaching at the Free University of Berlin and the University of London, School of Oriental and African Studies, Malinar has been Associate Professor of Indology at the University of Zurich since 2009 .
