Maiandros

Maiandros ( ancient Greek Μαίανδρος Maíandros ) is the deity of the river meander in Greek mythology .

Maiandros already appears in the Hesiod's river catalog . He is the son of Oceanus and Tethys . His daughter Kyanee is the mother of the twins Byblis and Kaunos . Maiandro's sons are Kalamos and Marsyas .
