Maine-Anjou ( French also: Rouge des prés) is a breed of cattle from the Anjou region in western France .

These are large-framed animals, cows 142 cm high at the withers and approx. 800 kg, bulls approx. 152 cm withers at approx. 1200 kg, which are kept for meat consumption. The animals are brown, red and white spotted and horned. The breed emerged from crossbreeding a landrace with Shorthorn cattle in the 19th century.
