Mairi
In some martial arts, the term Mairi ( Japanese ) stands for the so-called tapping for a lever or stranglehold , which is intended to indicate to the partner that the limit of tolerability has been reached. This involves knocking on your own body, on the mat or - depending on the martial art - also on your partner.
